Gaming Consoles

Question: What was the first video game console to offer online multiplayer gaming?

Answer:  The Sega Dreamcast.

Launched in 1999, it was the first video game console to offer online multiplayer gaming as a standard feature. Equipped with a built-in 56K dial-up modem, the Dreamcast allowed players to connect to the internet via the SegaNet service.

The Dreamcast’s online capabilities were far ahead of its time and it remains a beloved console and a pioneer in online gaming history.

Why "Dooley?"

Inspired by the founder's alma mater - Emory University's spirit mascot, Dooley represents the voice of the student body. And when Dooley shows up to your class, you can count on a fun time and the rest of the day off!
