Our team was recently onsite at a retail location to troubleshoot and optimize an existing audio system that had been experiencing sound quality issues.
After conducting a walk-through with store leadership, we worked through a full system review that included:
Reprogramming and resetting amplifiers
Working with BOSE support to update firmware and stabilize performance
Adjusting subwoofer levels for fuller, more balanced sound
Fine-tuning audio across multiple rooms and fitting areas
Addressing acoustics challenges caused by store surfaces and layout
Rebalancing left/right speaker channels for consistent coverage
By the end of the visit, audio performance was significantly improved across the entire store, including fitting rooms, storefront areas, and specialty spaces.
Projects like this highlight the importance of proper tuning and optimization — even when systems are already installed. Small adjustments can make a big difference in delivering the premium in-store experience customers expect.
